From my post on albums the other day some of you were interested in seeing more of the art album. So just to explain the concept again I am using an 8.5 x 11 WR Memory Keepers Album in Kiwi green. I went and found a very similar cardstock colour match in Spotlight and cut it all down to fit into the page protectors. What I do is when Flynn brings something home from School (daycare), Gymbaroo, the library or does a craft with my mum or myself it goes on the fridge until we are ready to put a new masterpiece up. Once it comes off the fridge I then make the decision then if I am going to keep it or not. If I am going to keep it I simply slip it into the album.
Once I have about 8 pages worth of art in the album I sit down and type out a little title about where Flynn did the art and the approximate month it was completed. I then print these out on a piece of white cardstock and cut them all down to size. I trim all of the artwork down and then adhere the artwork with the title attached at the top. I have a few sheets of a jungle range of stickers I am using for this album which I just dot throughout to add interest in the album. It is quick and easy and I just keep on top of this every few months when I think of it.
I am anticipating that this album will probably last a few years, I will hopefully end up with about 2-3 of these for all of Flynn’s Artwork from his school years : )

Wow, what a great idea! The album looks amazing.
I love this idea- where do you get the memory keepers album from?
Great idea….
Just wondering if you have any ideas on things to make or recipes for kindy teachers for Easter?
I’m sure you are ‘super organised’ and have a post on the way but I am trying to get organised so it isn’t the night before like Christmas was!
Thanks,
Thanks girls : ) I find it a nice easy way to display the art as well, Flynn loves looking through it !! You are so on my wave length Lindy LOL I have my first Easter post coming through on Wed and then a few times a week leading right up to easter with recipes and craft/gift ideas : ) I only started them last night- time just sneaks up on you doesn’t it.

Love the art albums Jade. What a lovely keepsake for Flynn to have and look back on. I have done a similar thing with my children’s art but used my binder/laminator and attached with rings, the kids love looking at their art.
The bigger paintings I keep and use to wrap presents for family or their little friends or cover their school books with.
