Chicken Vegetables and Rice

This is a super yummy recipe for kids, even Mum's and Dad's! Chicken Vegetables and Rice can also be frozen in portions for quick dinners or handy lunches!

Recommended Age - 8 months and up

Ingredients

1/4 cup rice
1/2 chicken breast chopped
2 carrots peeled and chopped
1/4 cup of peas
1/4 cup of corn kernels

Method

Add chicken, rice and water to a pan and cook until rice is tender.

Add vegetables and simmer until vegetables are cooked.

Strain liquid and set it aside.

For small babies blend in a food processor or with a stick blender and use liquid to smooth the mixture. For toddlers and older children leave the mixture lumpy and serve.

Makes 2-3 servings for a baby and 1-2 servings for a toddler.
