Child Of The Month - July 2010 - Sawyer
Despite a dramatic entrance to the world via emergency caesarian, Sawyer is one of the most laid-back chilled out kids.
He laughs constantly at sometimes the silliest of things, I often wonder if he's having his own little private joke with an imaginary friend!
He loves splashing in water and chasing bigger kids and now at 13 months he's toddling about and starting to talk, his first words being book and bath. We used to laugh at how he'd always crawl around the house with rings or balls in his hands until we figured out it's because he hates getting anything on his hands - certainly gave a big thumbs down to my housekeeping skills!
So while he loves the water he hates the sand, every time he gets sand on his hands he has to frantically wipe them clean, it's funny to watch and just one of those little quirks that make him his own person.
He loves animals and giving everyone the thumbs up, even though he thinks his forefinger is his thumb!
