Work At Home Mum Profile – Support A Work At Home Parent

by Jen...

Who better to feature this month than a support network for work at home parents!

Being a work at home parent is sometimes harder than working a regular 9-5 job for an employer. I know myself how hard it is to stay motivated and constantly feeling like you never really “clock off” for the day. Unlike a regular job where you can go home and leave work behind, working from home means your job becomes part of your life and creating a happy balance is a constant struggle.

Working from home does have amazing benefits though, once you work out your time management and ways to stay motivated. Working from home means you can spend more time with your family and work your hours to suit your lifestyle. What other job allows you to come to work in your PJ’s and watch daytime soaps while you work :)

As I have said working from home does come with added struggles and it is great to see a support network created just for work at home parents. Having other people to talk to about your business who can give your real advice from real experiences is priceless and Amanda from www.supportawahp.com has created that perfect place.

www.supportawahp.com is a fabulous site created to help work at home parents in all areas both business and personal with a great free directory and a fabulous support forum.

Supporting work at home parents is really important. Working from home gives so many parents the opportunity to do what they love, earn money and stay at home with their children. On a more serious side it also has a positive effect on our economy with less people claiming government benefits and more people paying tax!

So support a work at home parent and support the community created for them. Visit www.supportawahp.com

You can support this WAHM by checking out my wool slippers made from recycled wool sweaters and leather jackets… http://www.wooly-baby.com.
I am so thankful to be able to work at home and be here for my daughter. I hope lots of others find the support to do so, too.
